SOS Synergy has been involved in a large variety of projects across the UK. Below are some of the projects we have participated in over the last decade.
Ugo Foods
UGO Foods Group is a family owned producer and wholesaler of pasta and noodle dishes which will celebrate its centenary in 2029. Though UGO Foods has been at its Borehamwood premises for over two decades, energy for food production had been provided by two costly generators in the absence of adequate provision from the main network.
SOS Synergy was instructed as an Electrical Contractor and Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power to UGO Foods and created one point of connection, supplying the primary and secondary production lines at a total capacity of 2500kVA.
The scope involved the design and construction of a 1.5MVA substation, alongside a new 11kV high voltage connection from the nearest point on the network. The design and installation of the network distribution system were authorised by the DNO (UKPN). The internal building operating system consisted of the supply and installation of a built for purpose 2,500A Low Voltage distribution panel board including an automatic switchover to accommodate a backup generator.
The scheme in its entirety was conducted by SOS Synergy acting as the main contractor including but not limited to the distribution network as an appointed ICP, associated legal documentation such as easements, civil/groundworks, and the building network operating system.
We were subsequently retained to conduct the next phase of this project, which involved connecting the production building with the refrigeration unit. This phase was completed in 2022.

Scarbrook Road
Set in bustling Croydon, Scarbrook Road is a collection of 42 flats set in a prime location close to local amenities, the town centre and plenty of green spaces, such as Park Hill Park and Wandle Park.
To improve the facilities at Scarbrook Road, SOS Synergy was instructed as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power via one point of connection, supplying 42 flats at 176kVA.

Woodcote Grove
Woodcote Grove in Epsom is a collection of 98 luxury homes within and in the grounds of a Grade II listed Georgian Manor House.
We were instructed as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power to Woodcote Grove and created 19 points of connection, supplying four blocks consisting of 84 flats and 14 residential dwellings at 515kVA.

Arcadia Street
Nestled in a quiet street in Poplar, East London, this stunning church conversion in the up-and-coming E14 postcode is surrounded by Bartlett Park and the Limehouse Cut waterway.
Featuring 27 luxury apartments within a Grade II listed Victorian building, SOS Synergy was contracted to connect the former St Saviour’s Church to the network and create power supplies for the new homes. Work had to be careful and sympathetic to the nature of the listed building while creating new power supply connections.
SOS Synergy was instructed as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power to Arcadia Street and created two points of connection, one supplying 19 flats with 103kVA and a second supply to the final 8 apartments with 54kVA.

Church Road
Church Road is a redeveloped area set on the site of a former pub; the building is now an exclusive collection of 13 apartments, complete with a commercial unit on the ground floor. With close links to Stanmore Station and plenty of local amenities, Church Road offers an attractive living environment.
To support the development of these 13 apartments, SOS Synergy was instructed as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power to Church Road and created one point of connection, supplying 13 flats and 1 commerical unit at 76kVA.

Jubilee Street
The Botanical Court development in Stepney Green features 36 homes, a collection of studios, one, two and three bed loft style apartments.
SOS Synergy was instructed as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power to Jubilee Street and created eight points of connection to supply 36 flats and other nearby residential dwellings at 124kVA.

Hastoe Housing Association
Victor Road is a collection of flats in Hornchurch, which has expanded significantly in recent years as part of the London Borough of Havering.
SOS Synergy was instructed as the Electrical Contractor and Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to upgrade the existing new electrical infrastructure and to renew all power connections to the apartments, with a separate connection for the landlords. We created one point of connection, supplying 14 flats and landlord area at 218kVA.

Bickley Road
As an extensive multi-use building, Bickley Road in Walthamstow offers 1,722 sq. ft of space for office, retail and distribution opportunities, as well as featuring 9 apartments. With convenient transport connections, flexible floorplans and attractive frontage, it is ideal for commercial ventures.
To ensure the property meets the needs of its occupants and owners, SOS Synergy was instructed as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power to Bickley Road and created one point of connection, supplying 9 flats and 1 commerical unit at 112kVA.

Set in the popular location of Staines-on-Thames, London Road, also known as Surrey House, is a building comprised of a selection of flats.
London Road now comprises of 8 one-bedroom flats and a two-bedroom flat, as well as community space for amenities and parking. To support the change of use of this four-storey building.
To ensure the property meets the needs of the 9 flats, SOS Synergy was instructed as an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) to supply power to London Road and created one point of connection, supplying 9 flats at 72kVA.
